Kimberly began skating in Houston, Texas at the age of three. She trained in Houston, Denver, Dallas and Tulsa under the direction of Don Laws, Terri Hooper, Mary Anne McGivern, Shane Douglas, and Craig Burns.
Kimberly is a graduate of the University of Tulsa with a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise and Sports Science. She is a U.S.F.S. double Gold Medalist in Freestyle and Fieldmoves, a Pre-Gold Medalist in Ice Dance, and has 13 years of training in classical ballet and jazz. Kimberly is a member of U.S Figure Skating – Tulsa F.S.C., and Professional Skater's Association (PSA). Kimberly has completed the PSA Basic Accreditation Exam, the PSA Master Sports Science exam, and holds a PSA Registered Rating in Ice Dance and a PSA Level III Coaches' ranking.
Kimberly specializes in Freestyle, Fieldmoves, Ice Dance, and Choreography, coaches both recreational and competitive skaters. Kimberly has had the pleasure of coaching and choreographing for 2008, 2009, and 2010 Junior Nationals Ice Dance Teams as well as the 2005 National Showcase Juvenile Silver Medalist and 2006 National Showcase Juvenile Gold Medalist, 2008 National Showcase Intermediate Gold Medalist, and the 2008 National Showcase Overall Champion.

Boyko Alexiev

Phyllis Hudson

Phyllis is a USFS professional, holds the PSA Registered Freestyle and passed the Senior Sports Science test and was an ISI Gold level judge. She began skating in 1968 and was taught by Joe Summerfield, coach of Paul Wylie, Olympic Silver Medalist. She was also taught by John Baldwin, Sr., a U.S. Olympic Alternate.
Phyllis has taught in Dallas and San Antonio and has taught in Tulsa since 1995. She teaches beginners through advanced competitors and specializes in Freestyle, Ice Dancing, Fieldmoves, Music Editing, and Choreography.

Lisa Swenning-Jones

Professional since 1981. Coach since 1986. Lisa has accomplished the U.S. Junior Figure and Freestyle tests and the Australian Senior Figure and Freestyle tests.
Lisa is third generation in a family of skaters and coaches. Her coaches were her parents, Richard and Elsa Swenning. Lisa’s competition accomplishments include the title of 1977 Australian National Junior Ladies Silver Medalist and Junior World Alternate. She also enjoyed touring professionally with the Ice Capades. Lisa was the Skating Director at the Ice at Williams Center for 8 years and has produced/directed such shows as The Tulsa Philharmonic “Concert on Ice” and Testimony on Ice.
Lisa coaches recreational to competitive skaters and has coached skaters through every level of the U.S. Figure Skating Fieldmoves and Freestyle tests as well as the Intermediate Pairs test and every level of the U.S. Figure skating Adult Fieldmoves and Freeskate tests. Lisa is a U.S. Figure Skating and PSA member.

Jane Wilson

Jane trained under Richard and Elsa Swenning and is a Gold Medalist in Freestyle and has passed her 6th Figure and Pre-Silver Ice Dance tests. Jane skated competitively for over ten years through the Senior level. She has been coaching in Tulsa since 1998 and specializes in Freestyle and Fieldmoves. She teaches all ages and levels. Jane is a member of U.S. Figure Skating and the Professional Skater’s Association.

He is a US Figure Skating Gold Medalist in Moves In The Field and Freeskate, and has passed Intermediate Pairs, and PreBronze Dance tests. A competitive skater for seven years, he was an Intermediate Men's Regional Competitor. His coaches have included Craig Burns, Sue Twitty and currently, Boyko Alexiev. Matt is a professional member of US Figure Skating and the Professional Skaters Assoc. He started coaching in March 2004.

Gretchen Bashforth

Gretchen began skating in Tulsa, OK, where she trained in Figures, Freestyle and Ice Dance. She continued her Dance training in Colorado Springs, CO, with World and Olympic Coach, Richard Callaghan. Under his direction, she passed the Pre-Gold Dance test and studied the Gold and International Dances. Gretchen also has extensive training in voice, viola, ballet, jazz, and theatre, having appeared onstage with several local college and community performing groups.
Gretchen graduated from the University of Tulsa, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Vocal Music Education. She is certified to teach K-12, and has been a substitute teacher for Union Public Schools. Gretchen began coaching in 1994 and specializes in Ice Dance, Freestyle, Fieldmoves and Choreography. Highlights of her career include coaching Southwestern Dance Champions in 1996 and Junior Nationals Dance Competitors in 1996 and 2003. Gretchen is a member of Tulsa FSC, USFS, and the PSA. She has passed the PSA Basic Accreditation Exam and has passed the registered Sport Science Test.

Amanda Josserand

Amanda is an entry-level figure skating coach with 4 years of coaching experience. She has skated in Tulsa and competed in various competitions since she was 4 years old, and is delighted to continue to be a part of the sport as a coach.
Amanda has passed her Preliminary Freeskate, Intermediate Pair, and Bronze Ice Dance Tests. Amanda enjoys teaching beginner level students and attending competitions with her students.
Amanda received her undergraduate and masters degree in Speech–Language Pathology from the University of Tulsa. When she is not on the ice she is working as a school Speech-Language Pathologist. Amanda loves spending time with and teaching children to attain their goals, whether it is on or off the ice.
